Rock Band

Last weekend we pooled together our allowances, piggy banks, poker money, and couch change to buy Rock Band! We are now totally hooked. If you have no idea what I'm talking about the next time you go to Best Buy go into the computer games section and you'll probably see a teenager standing in front of a TV monitor holding a fake guitar. That's us, but with drums and a microphone too. Michael has taken to the drums, and Emily plays guitar and drums, and sings. Our band's name is The Wogs, and we've been rocking out to the likes of the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs", "Radiohead", "Bon Jovi", "Mountain", and "The Ramones". It is a riot to see Michael and Emily playing the drums and guitar together and trying to hit their notes on the screen. They have both amazed me with their ability. I'll try to post a picture soon.

Winter Fun

We're having a great winter this year. Lots of snow in December and early January. Then we had a big thaw. Now it's cold again. Waiting for more snow! Here are some pictures of the kids outside on a beautiful January day.

All I want for Christmas is my 3 front teeth

Emily lost a tooth on Christmas Day, so on consecutive nights we had Santa and the Tooth Fairy come to our house. Then a couple of days later she lost another one! Now she has 3 gaping holes in her smile.

Christmas Vacation

From 12/18 to 12/24 we went to Florida on vacation. We went to Tampa, where we went to Busch Gardens, and then to Orlando, where we spent time with Uncle Keith and went to Disney's Animal Kingdom. The weather was warm, the parks were not crowded, and we had the best time. Here is a photo album.
