End of Baseball Season

Michael's Cal Ripken baseball season ended last night with a 4-3 loss in the playoffs. The team lett in all 4 runs in the first inning and played a great rest of the game. Unfortunately they came up short, but it was a great effort. In the first 7 games of the season the team went 1-6; in the last 7 games they went 6-1. That turn around shows that the kids learned something about hard work paying off. Michael played catcher for most games and started hitting this year. I'm proud of him for working hard to get better by paying attention to the coaches and practicing during his free time.

Now it's time to enjoy the summer. Hockey has already started!
