Just came across this useful web utility:

You register a URL and it gives you a very short URL that will redirect to the original one. Use it for links to YouTube, knowledge base articles, or any page that has a really long URL. Long URL's are a pain because they don't always work in forwarded emails, and you can't easily read it to someone or use it in a presentation.
Miscellaneous news and notes from the Chapin Family. This is more a place for us to store comments for our own reference than for the benefit of others, but it's a great way to keep up with friends and family at their own leisure, rather than clogging their inboxes with emails.
